Klefki

Klefki is the backend service Cosmog uses for access controls. The Klefki dashboard can be found at https://klefkiv2.sylvie.fyi. Klefki will automatically register you when you join the Cosmog server. You need to be a member of the server in order to use Klefki.

Interface

Upon logging in, you will see a screen that looks like this.

klefki

The name displayed at the top is your Discord nickname in the Cosmog server. This defaults to your global display name if you don't have one set.

The first box displays your license information. Most users will see their number of devices allowed, and their number of workers allowed per device. Saffron and Cinnabar users will also see a third number representing how many of their devices are permitted to use remote attestations.

Below that is a box displaying your Cosmog access token. You can reset this at any time, but doing so will mean you need to change the config file on all of your devices.

The dashboard also displays some telemetry information. It shows how many devices you currently have connected, how many of them are real or virtualized, how many workers your devices are reporting as logged into an account, and an estimation of the number of RPCs relayed in the last few minutes. There is also a pie chart displaying what versions of Cosmog all of your devices are running.

If you have any devices connected, at the bottom there will also be a devices table that looks like this

devices

The example shown is a virtualized device. The statistics for a real device will obviously differ significantly from what is displayed here. This table can be helpful for identifying devices failing Play Integrity for remote attestations.

Custom Tier Subscriptions

Klefki is used in tandem with Ko-Fi to manage access to custom tier subscriptions. The process for signing up for a custom tier is as follows.

  1. Discuss what you want with me, and agree on a plan
  2. Sign up or log into a Ko-Fi account
  3. Click the email button in the license info box in Klefki to set your email address to the same one on your Ko-Fi account. It is important this matches exactly
  4. Sign up to "Custom Tier" on the Cosmog Ko-Fi, with a pledge amount equal to or greater than the price displayed on the dashboard

Upon doing this, you will be authorized for 32 days. It is set up like this to deal with 31-day months while also allowing for a 1-day grace period in the event of issues renewing to not disrupt service. The renewal date listed on the dashboard is 48 hours before access is actually revoked. When Ko-Fi automatically renews your subscription, access is extended by another 32 days.
